The website it's self offers three ways to get users involved.
1) Exposing content from social media via RSS feeds.
By finding the rss feed from your favourite social media page you can create a new RSS container (or add to an existing one) and feed the posts as they happen in to the Right hand modules on the gwp.org website
2) Share buttons in the page header images
These "green" social media buttons can be set up by creating a "share" page type in your social media buttons folder. This could be a "like" button, etc. Create a new share button and set the URL to point to the location your social media uses to collect "share" recommendations. Ex.
http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=
Note that this features is under development at the time of writing (jan 2012)
3) GWP On.... Buttons
These "blue" social media buttons are short cuts to where GWP is working in social media. Create a new seocial media button in your social media buttons folder to override the GWP global defaults.
(This feature is working today and not in development).
