Water is a finite resource and extremely scarce across the Mediterranean. The gap between water availability and demand, in a context of increasing pressures and climate change impacts, dictates the exploitation of non conventional water resources to cover secondary, non-potable uses.
Given the circumstances, every citizen has the power to contribute toward the alleviation of the Mediterranean water crisis by adopting a water-saving behavior. This section aims to provide tools for people to familiarize with simple actions that can increase water availability and learn more about some NCWR practices that can be applied to both an individual and community level.
