To enable implementation of the WACDEP, CDKN is supporting AMCOW and GWP to develop knowledge products and tools that will support the achievement of these goals. Work is currently underway in developing a Framework for Water Security and Climate Resilient Development. Regional consultations have been held with AMCOW TAC members in Southern Africa, West Africa and a Pan-African Consultation at the 6th World Water Forum Preparatory meeting in Banjul. As a follow up to the regional consultations, a meeting will be held on the margins of the 2012 World Water Forum in Marseille, France.

Objectives of the meeting

1. To share with AMCOW TAC the progress in developing the Framework for Water Security and Climate Resilient Development

2. To solicit for ideas on how to roll out the capacity development aimed at enhancing the capacity of countries to develop water security and climate resilient investments
