The Global Water Partnership South Asia (GWP SAS) is a constituent of the GWP network. GWP SAS represents in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka linked to the global network through the respective Country Water Partnerships (CWPs).
Global Water Partnership South Asia's (GWP SAS's) activities are carried out with the aim of increasing regional cooporation towards IWRM implementation in the region.
GWP SAS generates and dissaminate critical information about Intergrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) through the CWPs and its partners. We develop knowledge products and conduct capacity bulding activities aiming improved water security in South Asia.
GWP Network is open to all organisations that recognise the principles of IWRM endorsed by the Network. At present GWP SAS has more than 450 South Asian Regional partners.

They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.
