GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

OUR UNIQUE VALUE: GWP mobilises action on the global water crisis through a unique combination of social capital, shared values, credibility within the global water community, bottom-up orientation, and expertise. A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. We are committed to our role as a neutral convener and respected for our focus on inclusiveness and sustainability.

GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

How can I contribute?

Case studies

You can share your knowledge and submit case studies and references to the ToolBox and to the other members of the community. To add a case study first you submit a one page proposal. The ToolBox team will review and comment on your proposal and reply directly to you by email. The case proposal will be posted on the ToolBox website once it has been reviewed. Then you prepare the full case study (max. 8 – 10 pages) or you might provide us with the reference links where the detailed description could be found (external online links).

GWP Publications

GWP Technical Committee is taking a lead to develop new publications on emerging issues. We would welcome your comments and suggestions including case studies. Send your contribution to danka.thalmeinerova[at]gwp.org. List of current publications we want comments on can be found in the right-hand column, "Call for Contributions".
