Se recibieron más de 350 proyectos de todo el mundo para los Premios Agentes de Cambio por el agua. El calificado para esta etapa seleccionó a 78 semifinalistas que pasarán al siguiente proceso de selección; de estos 78 proyectos 31 son de Sudamérica:
