Armenia Water Partnership
The Armenia Water Partnership is officially registered as NGO.
The certain steps to put the IWRM principles in practice have been made in Armenia. The first steps were stated in the Water Code and in the related by-lows over the last years. The IWRM principles are adopted in a number of national projects and the programs, which are implemented in Armenia under financial support of the international donors with proper methodological facilitation from GWP CACENA. The Ministry of Nature Protection and the Water Resources Management Agency play a key role in practical application of the IWRM principles. The Armenia Water Partnership IWRM includes 20 accredited partners and promotes public awareness and participation processes acting in close cooperation with the above-mentioned authorities. Also it conducts the capacity development programs on IWRM issues.

Azerbaijan Water Partnership
The Azerbaijan Water Partnership was created as formal network of 16 organizations (governmental authorities, design, research, academic and educational institutions and NGOs) to facilitate process of the National IWRM Plan development and further its practical implementation. The Azerbaijan Water Partnership is acting under the aegis of the Public Association "Center of Environmental-Land Reclamation Monitoring - SAF SU" registered officially on 30 July 2003.
The Azerbaijan Water Partnership is playing the key role in awareness campaign addressed to the main IWRM principles among politicians, water professionals and organizations, and public organizations dealt with water issues. The Limited Company "Land Reclamation and Water Management of Azerbaijan" and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources play a key role in practical implementation of IWRM principles.
The main attention is paid to facilitating policy dialogues on IWRM implementation (in the form of intersectoral seminars and roundtables). This is a basis for exchange of experiences among the sectors and provinces, and also for dissemination of advanced knowledge about all aspects of IWRM summarized by GWP (TEC papers, ToolBox, CapNet manuals, CACENA regional papers and reports, etc.). The Azerbaijan Water Partnership cooperates closely with the international programmes and projects (USAID, UNDP, and others), addressed to implementation of the IWRM principles.

Georgia Water Partnership
National Water Partnership of Georgia is the Non Governmental Organization. Its establishment was the result of the four years existence of Georgia in the GWP for Central Asia and Caucasus.
At present the organization unified 20 accredited partners from governmental authorities, private and non-governmental organization, science, foundations and other stakeholders. Their involvement will contribute to the practical implementation of the IWRM principles in Georgia as well as public awareness under financial and institutional support of GWP CACENA. It cooperates closely with the international programmes and projects (USAID, UNDP, NATO), addressed to implementation of the IWRM principles. It also participates in the development of the policy paper on management of Water Resources in Georgia. All the actions of the organization are based on the principles and values of GWP.

Kazakhstan Water Partnership
The Kazakhstan Water Partnership was created as formal network of 24 institutions (governmental authorities, design, research and academic institutions and NGOs) to facilitate process of the National IWRM and Water Efficiency Plan development (under support of the Government of Norway and UNDP) and further its practical implementation.
The Kazakhstan Water Partnership is playing the key role in awareness campaign addressed to the main IWRM principles among politicians, water professionals and organizations, and public organizations dealt with water issues. Primary expectations regarding IWRM principles implementation are related to a Water Code adopted by the Decree No 481-II dated July 09, 2003, in which the basic requirements to IWRM are clearly enough stated. Practically, only in the beginning of 2004, the reform of the water sector based on the Water Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been started. The National IWRM and Water Efficiency Plan formulated by the end 2005 is the basis for Kazakhstan Water Partnership activities to implement the plan into reality.

Kyrgyz Republic Water Partnership
The Kyrgyz Republic Water Partnership was established on 19 January 2008. The process on creation of organization was started by Kyrgyz members of the Regional Technical Consulting Committee in 2002 and then was continued by the GWP CACENA Regional Council members.
Today the Kyrgyz Republic Water Partnership is a formal network of 19 accredited partner institutions registered at the GWP Secretariat. These partners represent water sector, agriculture (irrigation, water user associations), environment, economy, research institutes, national organizations and NGOs. The main goal is to provide a platform for all stakeholders interested in IWRM implementation to solve water problems at the regional and national level on the basis of transparency, impartiality and solidarity.
The principal attention is paid to the following directions:
- IWRM principles implementation in the country;
- Understanding of IWRM not only among decision makers, but the public in large;
- Resolution of interagency and cross-sector conflicts in the process of the water resource management and utilization.

Tajikistan Water Partnership
The Tajikistan Water Partnership was created as a formal network of 16 institutions (national agencies, design, research and public organizations). The main goal is to facilitate process of IWRM implementation in Tajikistan. The main activity is directed to providing the National Dialogues and to building strong relationships between water authorities and sectors, as well as to improve IWRM legislation and public awareness on water management planning. The Tajikistan Water Partnership advocates, stores and disseminates knowledge for sustainable development by implementing regional mechanism on applying the ToolBox as a base of GWP knowledge on water resources management. It also cooperates with regional system of building capacity, and provides ways to improve local and interregional relationships within the GWP network.
Established: 29 February 2008.
Since 1 October 2013 - under the aegis of the Public Organization "Water Partnership of Tajikistan".

Turkmenistan Water Partnership
Today the Turkmenistan Water Partnership is a non-formal network of experts and public organizations and acts as a mechanism for capacity building, informing of water professionals (government employees, researchers, businessmen, the public etc.) on IWRM.
In order to enhance national dialogue, revival of traditions of proper and care treatment of water resources as well as the environmentally friendly business development, CWP-Turkmenistan's activity is related to propaganda, collection and dissemination of knowledge to address national development and regional cooperation on water resources management.
Since 2009 the Turkmenistan Water Partnership operates under the nonprofit organization "Ynanch-Vepa".

Uzbekistan Water Partnership
The Uzbekistan Water Partnership was created as formal network of 29 accredited partners.
The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Accelerating Reforms in the Agricultural Sector” (2003) provides basic framework for putting IWRM into practice at the national level by means of transition from administrative, command system to hydrographic principles of water management and public involvement into water resources governance. The Regional Water Partnership of Central Asia and Caucasus has a recognized role as principal facilitator for the process of development of water policy and strategy of the IWRM at corresponding levels within the Uzbekistan. The Uzbekistan Water Partnership was established as a bridge between RWP programs and national activities. Recently, the most attention CWP pays to promote political dialogue on IWRM implementation (in the form of inter-sectoral seminars and round tables). This is basis for exchange of experiences among the sectors and provinces (sub-basins), and also for dissemination of advanced knowledge about all aspects of IWRM summarized by GWP (TEC papers, ToolBox, CapNet manuals, CACENA regional papers and reports, etc.).

Mongolia Water Partnership
The Mongolia Water Partnership (MWP) was established on 14 March 2013 as NGO.
MNW's mission is improvement of water management on the basis of IWRM principles at the river basin level, as well to strengthen the public-private partnership in Mongolian water sector to keep water safety at the national and regional level.
The key objectives are as follows:
- Development and strengthening water partnership in Mongolia;
- Create alternative ideas for water policy development;
- Contribute to better water management and development;
- Develop water education;
- Support water saving technology;
- Develop water partnership at the regional and global level.
