Zagreb, 3 July 2015. Today, the ICPDR Stakeholder Conference “Voice of the Danube” has convened in the Croatian capital. Over 80 stakeholders from a broad range of backgrounds stood the heat and expressed their views on the draft management plans for the Danube River.

WaterInnEU project, coordinated by Center for Ecological Research and Forestry Application (CREAF) in Spain, started in March 2015.

On 29 October 2014, GWP Central and Eastern Europe is realeasing a new video at the European River Restoration Conference 2014 to trigger a debate on public participation in water management.

GWP Romania was the first country to submit a report from their recent national consultation on water in the post-2015 agenda. A total of 29 country consultations are being organised in the first few months of 2014 as part of the GWP-OECD Global Dialogue project.

Country Water Partnerships organized the national consultations in Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia between 18-21 March 2014 in Sofia, Bucharest and Ljubljana while dates are pending for Poland.

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) announced the launch of its new 2014-2019 global strategy today.
