Objective: Establishment of Nexus Frameworks and preparation of bankable projects in the water-food-energy-ecosystem nexus

Rationale

Through the component, the AIP aims at supporting regional economic communities, basin organisations and countries in Africa in applying a nexus approach in the formulation of multi-sector policy recommendations, strategies, action plans and investment programmes, including identification of concrete investment projects for financing. The activities promote better interaction and synergies between the water, food, and energy sectors in order to unlock and optimise development of the potential for economic growth and transformation in Africa.
