To access support from the Green Climate Fund [GCF] for climate resilient water projects, countries need to present projects designed for impact – reflected through prioritized project ideas, clear climate rationale and contribution to the GCF investment framework criteria, packaged in compelling concept notes and comprehensive funding proposals.

Responding to the desire of preparing GCF projects, partners of the Technical Workshop on Project Preparation for Transformational Climate Resilience Water Project Concepts in Asia workshop laid the foundation for the partnership for climate resilient water project development in Asia to provide a platform for countries to exchange knowledge and lessons. Partnership modality: Country-driven engagement
The Partnership engagement modality is country driven. Countries will provide leadership to the partnership, articulating the needs and priority support areas to advance preparation and implementation of climate resilient water projects. Country entities will also be the primary source of knowledge, best practices, and lessons to be shared among members of the Partnership, which promotes peer-to-peer learning.
