Tabletop Exercise on "Water Sector Knowledge Sharing and Transfer" for Caribbean SIDS”
The Global Water Partnership -Caribbean (GWP-c) hosted a Tabletop Exercise (TTX) for persons working in the Caribbean water sector on Thursday 16th November, 2023. The initiative was used to test and evaluate organizations’ response to a hypothetical scenario or a set of circumstances in a controlled and low-stress environment related to the water sector.
The draft regional framework and implementation plan developed for improving knowledge sharing and transfer in the water sector in Caribbean SIDS was tested using this exercise. A facilitator guided the session by discussing one or more scenarios and allowed participants to discuss and analyse response strategies, identifying and addressing weaknesses, foster collaboration and develop solutions without the pressure of a real crisis.
