5Cs to Launch Groundbreaking Online Climate Risk Assessment Tool for the Caribbean

The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) will launch a game-changing online Climate Risk Assessment tool in St. Lucia on Friday, July 12th, 2013.

The tool called the Caribbean Climate Online Risk Adaptation Tool (CCORAL) has been endorsed by the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Dr. Rajendra Kumar Pachauri and aims to promote climate smart development by helping to embed a risk management ethic in decision-making processes across the region.

The launch of the tool will see the participation of the Prime Minister of St. Lucia, Dr. Kenny Anthony, permanent secretaries from ministries of finance and planning, development partners, a broad cross-section of regional stakeholders, journalists, among other representatives.
