The Young Caribbean Water Entrepreneurs Shark Tank Competition seeks to provide a unique opportunity for young persons from the Caribbean, aged 18 to 34 years, to pitch innovative and impactful water-related project ideas to support better water resources management in their community, country or the Caribbean region.

In March 2023, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) will host the 2nd Caribbean Science Symposium on Water. Its main theme will be "Conservation and Innovation: Changing the Regional Water Paradigm".

The Young Caribbean Water Entrepreneurs Shark Tank Competition is an initiative of the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) and was first launched in 2019.

GWP Central America and LatinClima, with the support of AECID, CATIE, Earth Journalism Network and MINAE Costa Rica, have organised an online course for Latin American journalists and communicators on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with emphasis on water and climate change.

Across the globe, March 8th is recognised as the United Nations’ International Women’s Day (IWD). This year, the theme is “The Time is Now: Rural and Urban Activists Transforming Women’s Lives.”

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, 23 August 2017. The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on initiatives related to water resources and human health.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) has done some major updates to its Caribbean Water and Climate Knowledge Platform which was developed under its Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) in 2014.

The United Nations’ (UN) International Women’s Day is observed on March 8^th each year. It’s a day to “celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women.”

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) under its Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) is developing a regional Caribbean Climate Resilience and Water Security Investment Programme and Financing Plan (CReWSIP). More information on the CReWSIP is available here.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is hosting a three (3) day national training workshop in St. Lucia on December 7^th – 9^th, 2015 entitled “Building Climate Resilience in the Caribbean Water Sector: An Integrated Water Resources Management Approach.”
