In March 2023, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) will host the 2nd Caribbean Science Symposium on Water. Its main theme will be "Conservation and Innovation: Changing the Regional Water Paradigm".

The Young Caribbean Water Entrepreneurs Shark Tank Competition seeks to provide a unique opportunity for young persons from the Caribbean, aged 18 to 34 years, to pitch innovative and impactful water-related project ideas to support better water resources management in their community, country or the Caribbean region.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility-funded (GEF) CReW+ and the United Nations Environment Programme Caribbean Environment Programme (CEP) and Cartagena Convention Secretariat, will soon be hosting Integrated Water and Wastewater Management (IWWM) Workshops.

Global Water Partnership-Caribbean together with its partners UNEP Cartagena Convention Secretariat & Caribbean Environment Programme (CEP), through the #GEFCReW+, Caribbean Climate Innovation Center and #DIA – Democratizing Innovation in the Americas (The Trust for the Americas) invite you to submit your applications for the 2022 Young Caribbean Water Entrepreneurs Shark Tank Competition.

The Young Caribbean Water Entrepreneurs Shark Tank Competition is an initiative of the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) and was first launched in 2019.

The United Nations’ (UN) International Women’s Day is observed on March 8^th each year. It’s a day to “celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women.”

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) launched its new Youth Engagement Strategy at Stockholm World Water Week on August 25^th, 2015. The youth strategy supports the wider GWP “Towards 2020” Strategy as does the GWP Gender Strategy, which was launched in August 2014. 

On May 4^th, 2015, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) announced the winners of its Media Awards on Water 2015 – Video Competition.

Luke Smith, a Trinidadian graduate student at The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus, has claimed the top spot in the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) Media Awards on Water 2015 – Video Competition.
