The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) has received the support of a number of  Caribbean Ministers with responsibility for water; senior government officials from different sectors; national and regional agencies; and key partners, all of whom attended the launch of the GWP-C’s Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) for the Caribbean on October 10^th, 2013 in Barbados.

During the month of September, Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) through the support of its partner, the National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) of Grenada presented the winner of the 2013 GWP-C Media Awards on Water, Mr. Milton Coy with his winning prize.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) has embarked on a new and exciting initiative, designed to develop practical and user-friendly tools for climate resilient decision-making, focused on the water sector in the Caribbean. The new initiative will be undertaken as part of the GWP-C Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) for the Caribbean.   

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) will appoint up to three new members for its Technical Committee from January 1^st, 2014.

Bridgetown, Barbados, September 18, 2013: Ministers with responsibility for Water in several Caribbean countries will gather at the 9^th High Level Session (HLS 9) Ministerial Forum which takes place on 10 - 11 October 2013 at the Hilton Barbados Resort. This Ministerial Forum is part of the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association’s (CWWA’s) 22^nd Annual Conference and Exhibition, which is being hosted by the Barbados Water Authority (BWA).

Journalist and Station Manager at GTC Radio in Grenada, Mr. Milton Coy, has claimed the top spot in the 2013 Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) Media Awards on Water.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), formalising a collaborative relationship for addressing regional water priorities.

GWP-C in collaboration with the Montserrat Utilities Ltd. is seeking a consultant to develop a National Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Policy and IWRM Planning Roadmap for Montserrat.
