The Global Water Partnership Organisation in Stockholm has a vacancy for an assistant position for the Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP).

Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) in collaboration with its partner the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) will engage technicians and practitioners in the Agriculture Sector from Barbados in a training workshop on Water Use Efficiency (WUE). The Global Water Partnership (GWP) is a worldwide network and an intergovernmental organisation, supporting countries and regions in their vision for a water secure world and their mission to support the sustainable development and management of water and related resources worldwide.  GWP has a network of over 2600 partner organisations, with 13 Regional Water Partnerships and 80 Country Water Partnerships.

Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) was among various water agencies and stakeholders invited to the Project Launch Workshop of a Regional Water Sector Review being spearheaded by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).

The Toco Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in the north-east coast of Trinidad has been granted TT$17 million from the Green Fund of Trinidad and Tobago for an extensive rainwater harvesting (RWH) project.

The International WaterCentre’s (IWC’s) Masters Scholarships are now open to study the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management in Australia in 2013.

Former Editor and Videographer at CNS TV6 in Guyana, Mr. Shane Hubbard has claimed the top spot in GWP-C’s first Media Awards on Water. Entries by Ms. Veoma Ali, Regional Advertising Manager at One Caribbean Media Limited in Barbados and Mrs. Latoya Minott-Spence, Reporter and Producer at Television Jamaica were selected for Honourable Mention. The Caribbean Youth Environment Network (CYEN) has drafted a document entitled "Caribbean Youth Position on the Green Economy in Preparation for Rio+20.”
