GWP-C World Water Day 2020 Photo Contest

The United Nations World Water Day (WWD) is observed annually on March 22nd. This year's theme is: Water and Climate Change. One of the ways the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) will be commemorating the Day, is through the launch of its WWD Photo Contest.

Efficient use of water can help fight climate change! One simple step you can take immediately to make a difference is to #CareForWater.

Send us a photo with caption, taken in the Caribbean that depicts “Taking good care of water.” Be as innovative and creative as possible!

The winner gets a US$100 Amazon Gift Card. Submit your photo with caption (one line) to gwp.caribbean@gmail.com. Include the name of the Caribbean country in which the photo was taken. The competition deadline is March 22nd, 2020 at midnight (AST).

Contest Rules

  • Anyone can enter!
  • Participants can enter a maximum of three (3) times.
  • Photos must have been taken in a Caribbean country.
  • Photos submitted must be the work of entrants.
  • Photos submitted must be of a high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

Photos will be judged based on:

- Photo Quality

- Originality & Creativity

- Relevance and Understanding of "Taking good care of water"

All photos submitted will be free to use by GWP-C in its publications and online media with the relevant photo credits given.
