(i) share promising experiences with a view to their understanding and appropriation by women processors; (ii) identify good practices and disseminate them on a large scale; (iii) define a roadmap to support women processors during the COVID-19 and post COVID-19 periods; (iv) identify avenues for multi-stakeholder partnerships to revive and support women processors in the ECOWAS region.
The event was held on 16 March 2021 and GWP WA was invited to take part, share experience and explore opportunities of partnership between the two institutions on gender related issues. The regional AIP WACDEP-G Programme Officer exposed on the AIP WACDEP-G and its vision to extend and cover many or all West African countries.
This event provided a good opportunity that paves the way for the development of a strategic partnership between GWP-WA and the ECGD.
