It is a competition open to all young people under 30 years old in the area of the capital city Ouagadougou. It aims at allowing young people to express themselves on any water related issue through poetry, slam, cartoon-drawing and photography.
The initiative has been launched on March 19 prior to World Water Day and runs up to April 30 for competitors.
This first edition is awarding three prices of CFAF 100,000, CFAF 50,000 (€75) and 25,000 (€38) in addition to a certificate and other gadgets provided by partners.
GWP WA is supporting the initiative with technical advice in communication and visibility and some small funding.
