This competition was open to young people under 30 years old living in the capital city Ouagadougou with the aim giving voice to talented young people, passionate about art and culture to express themselves on the theme of water and the environment. Candidates were invited to sensitize and to question, through their works on the threats related to water and the environment in particular the waste management and the phenomena of pollution.
A jury has been set up to pre-select the top five in each category. These fifteen preselected will be trained by the organizing committee for the final part of the competition that will reward the first three in each category.
The initiative led by the youth NGO FARAFINA ECO WATER and the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW) is supported by several partners such as GWP through technical and financial support, the International Secretariat for Water (ISW), Eau Vive and the Ministry of Water and Sanitation of Burkina Faso.
