Thus, from 3 to 21 February 2020, the NGO Eau Vive Internationale Togo welcomed two interns from Canada, specializing in environmental and development issues, to conduct this evaluation. Their activities consisted in collecting data from the various stakeholders in the project, including the implementation team, implementing partners, beneficiaries, local authorities, women beneficiaries' sensitizers, and visiting some activity sites.
The objective of this evaluation was to see the level of implementation of the good practices promoted during the trainings, to measure their impacts, if possible, and to collect the perspectives of the direct or indirect beneficiaries.
Interviews were done during a field visit on 14 February 2020 with local authorities including the Mayor of Danyi commune, the Secretary General of Danyi Prefecture and the Chief of Todome village. The beneficiaries also participated in the evaluation and a market garden was visited to see the practices implemented. The results of this assessment are yet to be disclosed.
TFTC is funded by the Government of Quebec and implemented by GWP-WA with ISW, Eau Vive Togo, CWPs of Benin and Burkina Faso.
