The 3 partners are unanimous that a General Assembly should be organized in order to renew the bodies of the CWP Capo Verde. This will allow the CWP to have more legitimacy at the national level and be able to bring stakeholders together. A small team could be set up to seek funding and carry out concrete actions.
They pointed out that the institutional framework of Cape Verde is favorable to the revitalization of the CWP since there is no formal framework now that brings together stakeholders in the water sector to discuss the challenges related to water resources. ADAD and ANAS have ensured that their organizations will apply for GWP partnership to be accredited members of the GWP network. Mario Moniz, the chair will share a list of NGOs working in the water sector for GWP-WA to share information on the network with them.
