Mr. Boukary expressed his satisfaction with the progress made in the implementation of the project and thanked all the partners including the financial partners of the two projects. He indicated that these projects support the communal council in carrying out its action plan for the commune.
The various beneficiaries of the project, including youth, women, market gardeners, the local water committee and livestock breeders, thanked the partners through their representatives and indicated that the project activities contribute to improving the living conditions of the beneficiaries, especially by strengthening their capacity to produce compost and liquid organic fertilizers.
The handing over of materials and equipment including 3 wheelbarrows, 25 shovels, 25 machetes, 25 hoes, 50 watering cans, 25 rakes, 25 boots, 25 hoes, 100 bags of packaging, 2 tricycles, 2 sprayers was a moment of great appreciation by both the mayor and the direct beneficiaries of the two projects.
The participants travelled to four sites, two of which were mango and forest plantation sites to protect the banks of the Tchoutchoubou River, and a demonstration site for the use of organic fertilisers produced by young people to see the effects on the progress of a rice field where three plans, A, B and C, are being tested.
The last site visited was that of the production of organic fertilizer.
At the end of the visit, the participants said they were edified and confident of the impact of the TFTC 2 project on young people and women with the synergy developed with the WACDEP Gender project in Benin.
