The programme involves collaboration across academic disciplines including social sciences, engineering, and the natural sciences in Asia, UK and Africa. FutureDAMS is a programme that seeks to deliver on cutting-edge ideas, using multi-criteria decision-making processes and political, economic analysis. The aim is to inform better development decisions. About 30 participants were present drawn from the academia, governmental institutions and civil society such as Forestry Commission, Ghana Irrigation Development Authority, WASCAL, The University of Ghana and Ghana Country Water Partnership. Also present were journalists from the electronic and print media.
