The stakeholders’ workshop reviewed the problems in the basins and propose solutions to resolve them.
These workshops organized in December are arising from one of the 9 actions identified in the IWRM Action Plan that seeks to review the basins IWRM Plans.
Ghana has validated in June 2019 the SDG6 IWRM Action Plan for the country to be implemented for the period 2020-2022 for a total budget of about 404,000 EUR. The IWRM Action Plan is meant to accelerate implementation of IWRM to meet short to medium term country aspirations. The Action Plan contains a set of actions including the review of existing IWRM plans for the Tano and Pra basins.
