The organization's achievements were presented at the official ceremony held under the chairmanship of the Senior Minister in charge of Energy and Hydraulics. Also attending were the Minister of Health, the former Prime Minister and former High Commissioner of OMVS, Mr. Kabiné Komara, the representative of the Governor of the City of Conakry, the Governor of Labé, and the High Commissioner of the OMVG (the Gambia River).
The event was welcome by all the personalities whoacknowledged the important role played by OMVS in the development process of member countries.
The OMVS High Commissioner, Mr. Hamed Diane SEMEGA listed some dam projects planned by OMVS. He expressed satisfaction with the signing of a USD 800 million contract for the development of the Koukoutamba Dam.
