The Programme Coordinator of IUCN PACO noted with satisfaction the contribution of PAGE in the signing of the memorandum between IUCN and ECOWAS. This will enable the development of new initiatives on the search for solutions to environmental problems at the regional level. The participants of the third session of the Steering Committee of the PAGE made some recommendations inviting the PAGE implementing partners to respect the timetables for the implementation of activities to allow a coherent implementation of the program and identify potential co-financing opportunities for the new program (information sharing) in reflection. A recommendation is focusing on the strengthening of the partnership between IUCN, CILSS and GWP / WA to explore new avenues for collaboration.
