The meeting was meant to allow scientific experts to finalize the scientific activities on models and set up software on computer servers provided by the project to five institutions: NBA and AGRHYMET at regional level and one each country to INERA in Burkina Faso, INE in Benin and University Abdou Moumini of Niger. Some administrative issues at the Customs level in Niger did not allow the computers to be delivered.
This meeting was followed on December 9, by the Project Management Team (PMT) with representatives of the Minister of water and sanitation of Burkina Faso, of Niger and the presence of the Secretary General of the Minister of Water of Benin.
Both meetings went well and participants were enthusiastic and are all expecting to take the results of this phase to build a second one which they all expect to be more productive and live changing for the populations.
