The meeting captured a broad range of priority issues related to robust data generation on the 112 Indicators. The meeting was organized by the National Consultant and with the collaboration of the National Focal Point.
The aim of the meeting was to familiarize the contact persons with the project and to get response from organizations on the exercise. A total of 23 participants attended the meeting, including government's representative and relevant Ministry, Department and Agencies. Resolution reached at the meeting was a call to all Country Team to endeavor to make available data generated on or before October ending in readiness to organizing the National validation workshop scheduled for November 2018.
GWP WA and DHI are working in consortium to support ECOWAS in the establishment process of the regional water observatory and CWPs are involved in the national data collection processes.
