GWP-WA is one of the first regional institutions to have signed in August 2020 a MoU with MBA months after the installation of the Executive Directorate by the supervisory authorities of the two countries (Benin and Togo) that share the Mono River.
GWP-WA together with other regional partners is engaged in many proposals submission jointly with the MBA ED aiming at support the relatively newly established basin organization to meet its mandate to develop, promote and protect the natural resources of the basin for the sustainable development for meeting the riparian population needs.
The MBA delegation was composed of the Executive Director, Mr. GNAKPAOU Dadja, his Deputy, Mr. SANOUSSI Razaki, the Head of the Financial and Accounting Unit, Mr. KPAWOL Nlansoho and the Head of the Studies and Planning Unit / IWRM expert, Mr. Arnauld ADJAGOGO. GWP-WA’s Executive Secretary Mr. K. Armand HOUANYE was accompanied by Mr. Maxime Teblekou, Projects officer and Mr. Sidi COULIBALY, Communication and knowledge manager.
