The signature of the documents was done in the conference room of the GWP-WA regional Secretariat in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The event was attended by a selected number of regional and national partners including ECOWAS/WRMC, UEMOA, CILSS, VBA, Burkina’s Directorate of Water resources, IUCN-PACO, CWP Burkina, Niger IWRM Plan Permanent Secretary.
After farewell, acknowledgement words to the outgoing hair and welcome ones to the incoming one, both personalities were presented with symbolic gifts and a family remembrance group picture taken.
