As we focus our attention on World Water Day 2015, we at the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) wish to draw attention to the underlying goal of securing water for all. 

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is pleased to announce that under its Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) it has produced a series of information products to further cooperation in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) among various stakeholders across the region.

On March 8th, 2015, the Global Water Partnership (GWP) which comprises of thirteen (13) Regional Water Partnerships including the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) will celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) by advocating for a #watergoal, which would mean major improvements in living conditions for women worldwide. GWP's Chair Ursula Schaefer-Preuss points out that there is a close connection between women and water.

February 2^nd, 2015 - The Global Water Partnership (GWP) has launched a campaign today, to maintain a dedicated water goal on the United Nations (UN) Post-2015 Development Agenda. All thirteen (13) Regional Water Partnerships of the GWP which includes, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C), is a part of this global campaign.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) has embarked on a new initiative under its Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) called “Climate-Proofing Water Investment in the Caribbean” which is being executed in partnership with the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC).  

Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) under its Water Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) is currently supporting the revision of the Antigua and Barbuda Draft Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Policy and Roadmap in conjunction with its network partner, the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA).

The Engineering Institute in collaboration with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus are hosting a Dam Hydraulics Seminar on January 14^th and 15^th, 2015.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position of Regional Coordinator of the organisation. The duty station for the position is in Trinidad.

Ms. Candi Hosein, Programme Assistant of the Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) of the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) had the opportunity of being one of the participants chosen to deliver a technical presentation at the 2014 Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) Conference held in The Bahamas earlier this month.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) has lost one of its Founding Fathers, Navin Chanderpal who passed away yesterday ending a long battle with stomach cancer.
