The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) with the support of its partner, the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) hosted a National Stakeholder Consultation on Water in Antigua on April 11^th, 2013.

To drive the interest of Integrated Water Resources Management at the political level in the Caribbean, since 2005, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) in collaboration with its partner, the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) host an Annual High Level Forum of Ministers (HLFM).

The entire Global Water Partnership (GWP) network is commemorating 2013, the United Nations International Year of Water Cooperation, with the launch of a publication entitled “Water: Catalyst for Cooperation.”

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) in conjunction with the Global Water Partnership Organisation has developed a Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) for the Caribbean to support the implementation of the water related actions outlined in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Implementation Plan for the Regional Framework for Achieving Development Resilient to Climate Change.

Global Water Partnership-Caribbean has released the first 2013 issue of its newsletter "Caribbean Water Insight."

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) together with the University of Dundee will offer scholarships for 30 participants to undertake a module in International Water Law, in Dundee from June 10^th - 21^st, 2013.

At the 8^th Annual High Level Session (HLS) of Caribbean Water Ministers, convened by the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) and its partner the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) in October 2012, nine Caribbean Ministers including two Deputy Prime Ministers present at the Session, recommended that GWP-C and its partners develop a Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) for the Caribbean.

In August, sixteen (16) lecturers and researchers from universities across the globe gathered in Stockholm, Sweden for the first Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Knowledge Centres workshop.
