Hillary Natumanya possesses an outstanding experience for over 6 years in the field of climate change, natural resources management, projects formulation & management, and research. He holds a Msc in Agriculture and Rural Innovation, BSc in Environmental Management and a Post Graduate Dip. in M&E. Over the past six years, he had coordinated the implementation of different projects and programs that are supporting smallholder farmers and pastoralists to increase their resilience to the impact of climate change, natural resources governance, gender and M&E among others. He had also served in different position as a program coordinator, project officer, researcher, teaching associate and a consultant with Government institutions, INGOs, University of Bishop Stuart and Private sector. Hillary’s experience also consists of institutional collaboration in Uganda, Eastern and Horn Africa with track records in drought management, agriculture, and climate change adaptation projects, Integrated Water Resources Management and WASH services, policy and gender. Hillary has also experience in stakeholder engagement and training audiences that include government officials, Private Sector Organizations (PSO), as well as Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), both women and youth led organizations in areas of Climate, gender, Water resources management, policy, climate financing. His experience also lies in working with development and implementing partners and donors such as: Global Water Partnership, UNEP-DHI, IUCN, UNECE, GCF, GEF, USAID, FCDO, Adaptation Fund, ADA, Sanitation and Water for All, AGWA, UNICEF, MasterCard, Regional University Forum for Capacity Building, and IRC WASH among others like working closely with Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) secretariate, governments of Nile Basin countries.
