Water security is widely recognised as one of the major challenges to global economic and social development. Civil society involvement in water projects exists to supplement or complement government efforts in solving the water problems. However, many of the civil society’s efforts and contributions are still not captured or recognized as part of the country’s achievement. The present situation still shows that a dedicated effort to facilitate this potential alignment is still missing, and therefore consider as such a waste of resources.
Therefore, the webinar is held with the objective to showcase and gain inputs on different options or mechanisms of enhancing public participation for optimal water governance at a different levels.
