They discussed ways and means of bringing the CWP to contribute to ongoing and future activities in the Niger Basin.
Both parties are contributing to the development of integrated water resources management in Guinea and have committed to work together more closely.
A CWP team conducted by the chair met on 28 and 30 January in Conakry a high-level delegation composed of representatives of the OECD, some Arab funds, the SDC, and the Islamic Development Bank visiting Guinea. The visiting delegation is an exploratory mission to develop a model project on subjects identified as priorities for SDG 6 implementation and is exchanging with all national stakeholders in order to collect the stakes that will serve as a basis for future intervention.
