Ghana: 2nd Capacity training held

The Ghana Country Water Partnership under ict Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) HAS Organised the 2nd module of the capacity building program titled "Identify and Appraise Options." This training Took Place in the Upper-East Region from July 21st -24th, 2014 at the conference room of Ex-Tee Crystal Hotel in Bolgatanga.

The workshop WAS Meant to aid participants to the skills and knowledge ACQUIRE to Develop a balanced portfolio of investment options That Enhances water security for climate resilient growth and development; learn how to Prioritize no / low regret options and to make clear Economic Case for Investments; apply the knowledge and tools from Workshop I on real project cases DURING THE field trips and Develop linkages by Promoting networking and cooperation.
Took 12 participants share in the workshop from The Following Governmental institutions and agencies: National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), Water Resources Commission (WRC), Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS), Hydrological Services Department (HSD) and Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA), Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) from the Northern, Upper West and Upper East Regions.
The training WAS marked with lectures, discussions and exercises on how to Identify and appraise options on climate change and year tour to various locations in the Bawku West District, Bawku and Bolgatanga Municipalities.
