Ivory Coast: Improving business climate and agricultural production

    The CWP Ivory Coast was asked to get involved in the World Bank project on "Improving the Business Climate in Agriculture in Côte d’Ivoire. The project focuses on laws and regulations that govern the activity and the actors of the agricultural sector in 40 countries, including Côte d'Ivoire. 

    The aim is to provide national policymakers with information to help design specific public policies and a regulatory framework to strengthen the agricultural sector of the country.
    The participation asks from the CWP at this stage includes completing a questionnaire focused on the management of water resource and in particular of its intended and regulatory framework. The questions are related to the prevention of pollution caused by agriculture, sanitary water control and management of unsafe water.
