South Asia Women Water Network (WWN) meeting “Insights and Ideas for Empowering Women - from South Asia Women Water Professionals” was held online on 28 October 2022.

Inauguration of the “Built Water Storage in South Asia to enhance water security in the region” project
To inaugurate the “Built Water Storage in South Asia to enhance water security in the region” project, a series of inception workshops targeting the five designated countries, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, and Pakistan are being scheduled for five distinctive dates in January 2023.

Safe water through H2O Wheels in Pakistan
GWP Pakistan in collaboration with Tayaba Welfare International Association (TWIA), donated 390 “Help to Others (H2O) Wheels” worth of Pakistan Rupees 2.8 million (around Euro 11,700) to the communities who suffer from a lack of safe water in Punjab and Sindh Provinces in Pakistan - belongs to Cholistan and Tharparkar Deserts.

GWP SAS Water Academy for Youth (WAY) 2022
GWP SAS WAY Programme is planned from 25 September to 30 November 2022 with the theme “Riverscapes and Riverine Ecosystems”. We are calling applications from eligible youth (18-35 years old) from the region to participate to the training.
