GWP Pakistan in collaboration of Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) organised a training on preparation of master plans for water storage and hydropower development in Pakistan on 6 August 2019 at WAPDA House, Lahore, Pakistan.

Promoting menstrual hygiene management awareness in Sri Lanka
GWP Sri Lanka conducted an awareness raising on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) among adolescent girls through a programme organised at a girls’ school, Matale on 5 July as part of their Water Messenger Programme planned under the Core Activities.

WASH-Climate Resilience training in South Asia
A climate resilient, WASH and Climate financing training was held from 16-18 July in Kathmandu, Nepal convened by UNICEF Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA). It is a collaboration between UNICEF ROSA, UNICEF Headquarters (Water and Climate Team), and the Global Water Partnership (GWP).

Strengthening Integrated Water Resources Management in Sri Lanka
GWP South Asia attended a national key water sector stakeholder discussion held on 8 August 2019 in Colombo organised by the Programme Management Unit of the Mahaweli Water Security Investment Programme (MWSIP) under its consultancy package “Strengthening of Integrated Water Resources Management (SIWRM)” in Sri Lanka.

GWP nominated as the delivery partner for NDA Readiness for 2020, Sri Lanka
The Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment, Sri Lanka - as the National Designated Authority to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) - nominated GWP as the delivery partner for National Designated Authority (NDA) Readiness for 2020 under the GCF Readiness Programme.

ROSA Wash Climate Resilience Training: 16-18 July, Nepal
