Action 32 - Analysis of knowledge needs for the implementation of IWRM, including for women and youth

Between 2018 and 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Country Water Partnership of Kazakhstan, brought together stakeholders from government agencies, river basin organisations, development partners, NGOs, civil society, academia, and the private sector to define a series of strategic actions for advancing on IWRM in Kazakhstan. The following action was defined as part of that process and identified as a priority action to be included in an action plan.

The purpose of this action is to develop IWRM capacity and foster gender and youth inclusion in water management by analysing the knowledge needs for IWRM taking into consideration those specific to women and youth.
