In 2019, stakeholders from national and county government agencies, civil society, academic institutions, and the private sector came together under the lead of the Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Sanitation to define strategic actions for advancing on IWRM. The following action was defined as part of that process and identified as a priority action to be included in an action plan.
This action has the purpose of addressing policy overlaps on wastewater by focusing on reviewing guidelines on wastewater management and designing a cabinet paper to be shared with relevant stakeholders.
