Action 6 - Develop EIC Material on key Water Security and Climate Resilient issues considering Gender perspectives

In 2018, the Water Resources Commission and the Ghana Country Water Partnership, under the lead of the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources, brought together stakeholders from national and county government agencies, development partners, NGOs, civil society, and academia to define a series of strategic actions for advancing on IWRM in Ghana. The following action was defined as part of that process and identified as a priority action to be included in an action plan. The purpose of this action is to foster gender sensitivity and inclusion in their interlinkages with water security and climate resilience. It aims to reach this goal by developing appropriate communication products, including Education, Information, and Communication (EIC) materials, that will deepen the understanding of all relevant stakeholders on the issues of climate resilience and water security in connection with gender mainstreaming in IWRM.
