Action 9 - Develop Incentive-based Strategy to attract the Private sector to support IWRM activities

In 2018, the Water Resources Commission and the Ghana Country Water Partnership, under the lead of the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources, brought together stakeholders from national and county government agencies, development partners, NGOs, civil society, and academia to define a series of strategic actions for advancing on IWRM in Ghana. The following action was defined as part of that process and identified as a priority action to be included in an action plan. The purpose of this action is to encourage private sector support of IWRM activities developed for implementation by designing an attractive incentive-based strategy for private sector involvement.
