The Zambian government is developing their next National Development Plan and the Ministry and Energy and Water Development has requested GWP Southern Africa and GWP Zambia to support the engagement of stakeholders in developing of the water chapter of the Plan - ensuring an IWRM approach and mainstreaming climate change adaptation.
GWP Zambia asked to use its ‘convening power’
Zambia is the first country in the GWP Partnership for Africa Water Development programme to successfully integrate an IWRM plan into a National Development Plan (2006-2010).
