New Documentary: Bridging Waters

This documentary series, "Bridging Waters", explains the importance of transboundary water management in the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).

More than 70 percent of all water allocated to the various uses in the SADC region emanates from shared river basins. The series highlights the role of water as a vehicle for peace and integration, unlocking the potential for regional prosperity.

Each part of the 4-part series is 25 minutes long. The first part provides a general introduction to transboundary water management, while the other three explore challenges and projects in three major river basins: the Limpopo, the Orange-Senqu, and the Zambezi River basin.
