Mr. Ramatsoku Rampai is an environmental scientist working for the Ministry of Forestry, Range and Soil Conservation, under the Department of Range Resources Management as Senior Range Management Officer. Mr. Rampai is currently head of the “Cattle-Post and Wetland Area Management Section”.
Mr. Rampai is a holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from the National University of Lesotho. He was further certified in advanced training and research in the field of land restoration and sustainable land management by the United Nations University - Land Restoration Training Programme, Iceland. He was appointed by the Ministry of Forestry, Range and Soil Conservation to be the focal point for Lesotho – Iceland United Nations University – Land Restoration Training Programme, since 2019.
Since 2017 to date, Mr. Rampai has been engaged in both the planning and implementation phases for the “Support to Integrated Catchment Management (ICM) Project in Lesotho as a focal person for the Department of Range Resources Management.
