Thabo Levi Nteko is currently the Projects Coordinator at the World Bank-funded Transport Sector Project in Lesotho within the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and also a director at the Global Development Consultants. He is an Infrastructure Development Specialist in the fields of Engineering and Project Management. He accumulated vast experience in the last 20 years working for both the private and public sectors in the SADC Region. He previously served as Director/Manager Enterprise Projects Management (acting) at Water and Sewerage Company (WASCO) where he was overall responsible for all WASCO capital infrastructure projects portfolios.
Levi also worked on the Integrated Transport Project (Ministry of Public Works and Transport) as part of the Project Management and Administration team between 2010 and 2014. This was a World Bank-sponsored organization responsible for planning, implementation and monitoring of transport infrastructure and social projects for the transport sector in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Key roles were overall implementation and management of close to USD 100 mn portfolio.
Between 2007 and 2009 Levi worked as Director Projects and Operations at GladAfrica Consulting and Management on an assignment that involved a massive infrastructure program that was aimed at producing World Cup 2010 in the City of Tshwane, South Africa. It involved extensive stakeholder engagements in varying disciplines to plan and complete all infrastructure elements on time, budget, and scope.
