Ms. Bonang Mosiuoa is the Managing Director of Serumula Development Association Pty, a Not-for-Profit Organization (NPO) working in broad areas of development, with emphasis on Natural Resources Management (environmental management, water resources management and agricultural development) as well as Socio-Economic issues in Lesotho.
Ms. Mosiuoa holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics and has over 20 years of work experience as a development practitioner covering a wide range of development issues in Lesotho. 15 years of her experience is in natural resources management, in light of emerging global development challenges such as climate change. She has led the implementation of various projects including projects in Integrated Water Resources Management. She has sound experience in developing strategies for adaptation to climate change and has over the years implemented projects addressing environmental challenges in water resources management and sustainable livelihoods of rural communities in Lesotho in the face of changing climate. She has collaborated with international, regional, and national partner organizations in carrying out consultancies across various sectors in Lesotho.
Ms. Mosiuoa has expertise in multi-stakeholder engagement processes including the development of stakeholder engagement plans and environment and social management frameworks. Her key competencies include training and capacity building of various stakeholder groups (government departments, private sector, civil society organizations and community-embedded structures) in water resources management and planning processes.
