Apart from the plenary sessions addressing issues such as ecopolis and ecological civilization, urban eco-planning and eco-engineering, ecolopis planning and management and urban ecological restoration and ecological risk and the thematic sessions focusing on specific topics like indexes criterions and case studies of ecopolis development, technology and engineering for ecological restoration and industrial transformation and eco-tourism development etc., the Forum also includes a special consulting session and on-site visits.
The experts and participants present at the Forum had discussions and exchange of experiences on the above issues and themes. The speakers from China had presented the theoretical developments and practices on ecopolis development. The ecopolis development has nowadays become a focus of concern of the international community. Through the thematic discussions and exchange of experiences, the participants had better understood the importance and urgency of ecopolis development, and the Forum will help promote the China’s ecoloplis development.
